In an all girls' school, Beth befriends newcomer, Evie. As Evie falls victim to severe bullying, she grasps at the only way she can think of to protect herself. The ramifications for Beth are devastating.

"I didn't do anything!"

In my role as Core Tutor of the National Institute of Dramatic Art's Drama Studio, a one year course for teen actors, I set about the end of year production. I chose to write a new play for the group of young thespians and Beth was the result. The script was 80% complete for our first rehearsal. We spent two weeks work-shopping and finalising the script before diving into rehearsals. Beth has a strong message for those who bully. It doesn't hold back. And for those who witness bullying around them... well you'll have to see it to find out.
