Creative State is the home of actor, writer, director, Paul Caesar. Paul is a graduate of the prestigious National Institute of Dramatic Art where he also teaches aspiring actors through its Open Program.

Paul began acting at age 13, eight years before being accepted into NIDA on his first audition. Since graduating from NIDA in 1992 with a Bachelor of Dramatic Art in Acting, BDA (NIDA), Paul has worked as an actor, writer, director and acting coach. Paul's televisions credits include All Saints, Home and Away, and Water Rats. His work in film includes Crosslife which premiered in June 2007 as a part of the Sydney Film Festival and The Square Nash Edgerton's directorial feature debut (written by and starring Joel Edgerton). On stage Paul has worked with the Sydney Theatre Company (see full list of credits).
Paul has been acting coaching since 1994 and has designed and facilitated acting programs both locally and interstate.
In 2002, Paul established Creative State Drama, an acting institute focused on 'personal development through drama'. Since then Paul has directed The Crucible and devised-projects Life is..., Beauty and Roads. Paul wrote and directed a major production Redemption: Through the Eyes of Shakespeare (which he again directed in 2008 at the National Institute Of Dramatic Art) and has just finished writing a pilot for a new Australian television drama series.
Paul has taken his skills into the corporate arena designing and facilitating Presentations Skills Training programs. He also writes and performs comic presentations for conferences and events. Paul is an accredited trainer with a Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training.
